One of my favourite venues as a Lancashire wedding photographer and videographer is the River Barn, Poulton-le-Fylde. Here’s a look at Alex and Lucy’s recent wedding that I photographed and filmed at the River Barn, and a little info about my new combined photography and video package.
I highly recommend the River Barn if you are looking for a wedding venue in the Northwest (I know many couples will have gotten engaged over Christmas, and congratulations if that’s you!). The River Barn staff are so helpful and friendly, but also organised and efficient. Every wedding I have worked there has run like clockwork but also felt very relaxed. The main space is a large hall with nice big windows, which is a dream for me and my cameras.
One thing that stuck with me about Lucy and Alex’s big day, was how their personalised vows opened a window into their love story. I love it when couples choose additional personal vows, and I always include them in their films. Good audio elevates a wedding film and tells a story, rather than just presenting a series of lovely shots. See the film of their stunning wedding below.
So how does a photography and video package work?
Having captured both photography and video at Alex and Lucy’s wedding, I have recently decided to offer a proper combined photo/video package to my couples. See my current pricing here: https://nessworthypictures.com/photography
The new package includes one photographer and one videographer: myself, and an associate shooter. I have a small pool of associates. These are people I trust to deliver a similar style and quality of work to me, and an absolute joy to work with!
On Alex and Lucy’s day, I captured both photography and video, whilst my excellent second shooter, Victoria J Photography, backed me up on photography. For future bookings, the new package will have one dedicated photographer and one videographer. Working side-by-side, rather than one person taking both roles. After a combined package wedding, I will edit the photo gallery and the wedding film to produce a consistent look and feel.
